Review of the LASIK Vision Institute Continues

Negative publicity resulting from one LASIK Vision Institute tend to cast a shadow over all other facilities. However one should be realistic. There are perhaps hundreds of LASIK Vision Institutes in the United States, each performing thousands of successful surgeries each year.

Incidents such as in Florida are a very small percentage of this overall number and should not overshadow the good work that most LASIK Vision Institutes are doing. It is like saying we won't fly planes because there are plane crashes.

The bottom line is this. Things can go wrong anywhere at any time. What is required of all of us to be vigilant, especially when we allow someone to touch a vital part of our bodies whether it is at a LASIK Vision Institute or not.
